Robert Berry, President and CEO Rob Berry has legitimate claim to the title of "Mr. TurboCAD". During a career that spans over 14 years in the development of TurboCAD, he has held the following titles:
Further he has advised in the areas of QA, PR, Sales and Web Development for TurboCAD. He has been directly involved in the successful launch of all versions of TurboCAD published by IMSI in the past 6 years, from version 3 through version 8. He co-authored the "Complete Guide to Learning CAD", which is the basis of the version 8 user guide. He has given presentations on TurboCAD on numerous occasions to companies such as Boeing, South Texas Project, Palomar College as well as Trade shows, CAD software journalists and financial investors. He has given training classes in America, Europe, Africa and Australia to companies, individuals, schools, sales and support staff. He has been instrumental in regard to the functionality of the TurboCAD product and how its features are applied to solving market requirements. Prior to joining IMSI, Mr. Berry ran Berry Press c.c., his own successful software training and consulting corporation in South Africa. His clients included large government, mining and engineering firms for services covering: Office Products, CorelDraw, Ventura Publisher, PageMaker, TurboCAD and even TurboCASH. Prior to launching Berry Press he lectured in Mathematics and Computer Science at high school level. Further, his experience extents to the days of publishing TurboCAD for DOS back in 1987 for Pink Software in South Africa. In 1992 he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. Dave Taylor, V.P. of Development and Operations Dave Taylor brings five years of experience in the CAD industry, both as an end user and a Product Manager. While at IMSI, Mr. Taylor was responsible for overseeing all aspects of planning, design, development, quality assurance, marketing, sales, training, and public relations for IMSI's FloorPlan 3D line of products. He developed technical specifications for future releases, scheduled and conducted presentations to clients and directed trade show presentations, as well as assisted in the Management and release of several versions of TurboCAD. After leaving IMSI, Dave helped to start a web design firm where he was co-developer of CustomCart an e-commerce transaction solution and a content management system called CustomCatalog, as well other custom database driven Internet application solutions. He then accepted an offer as a Sales Engineer for Reef, who produces a Java/XML based e-business development/solution suite. As a Sales Engineer his primary role was building demonstrations, providing technical consulting for sales executives during both end-user and channel sales cycles, and providing feedback of all discovered product inadequacies and information gaps to the R&D and Marketing teams. Mr. Taylor holds a B.A of music from Cornish College of the Allied Arts, where he majored in Jazz Theory.
